my remaining years. Travel and photography have been in my blood since I was 16 years of age. In my teenage years I traveled to most of the fifty states and as I grew older, I traveled the Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Nicaragua, Colombia, and throughout Southeast Asia. I am content, however, I am still far from satisfied.
There are many things I want to do, places I want to see and photographs I want to take. After four years of making what I consider to be crappy little videos, I am also ready to attempt to produce better videos.
I feel fortunate to have traveled around the world. And still, I yearn for more. This is an understatement and perhaps it is akin to a billionaire with a desire to make more money. Odds are I have around 20 good years left. Maybe less, maybe more, but I figure a good 15-20 years. I have a lengthy bucket list and want to cross off all the items.
In next week's blog, I'll go over my bucket list, but what I want to do will never get done sitting behind a desk answering questions. I have said before, but not long ago, I woke up and it hit me; time's a waste-in and I better get going. I'm spinning my wheels. So for those who want to see less of my face, you're in luck because you won't be seeing as much of me in front of the camera.
In 2017, we (myself and 2-3 others) be in Cambodia (several cities), Myanmar (again, several cities), possibly Bali, and then towards the end of the year, we'll be going down the Mekong River from start to finish. It should be a fantastic year and I hope to make my best videos yet. I'll be adding some new equipment in the next 3 months and I can't wait to see the results. Stay tuned!
