New Year's Promises - What Are Mine?

Every year people make New Year's resolutions. How many of these people actually stick to their resolutions is unknown. From experience, I would estimate that most people fail. So this year, I've decided to change my New Year's resolutions to New Year's promises.
I try to stick to my promises. Why make a promise if you can't keep it? At the end of the year I will look back to see if I followed through with them and if I failed.
Here are my six New Year's promises:
1. Stop swearing - hmmmm...not so sure about this one. Cut down, yes, stop completely...not so sure.

2. Lose 10 Kilos - not only do I want to do this, I need to. And I will.

3. Make better videos - I know the standard I want my videos to be and right now I have a ways to go. Equipment and experience will help and by the end of the year I think they'll be better.

4. Take five trips outside of Thailand - Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia, India, and Africa or Nepal - I should be able to take three or four trips. Hitting five places in a year will be slightly more challenging but I think I can achieve this goal.

5. Walk from the southern most part of Thailand to the northern most part of the country - this one will have much to do with my overall health and especially the state of my right hip, which was fractured many years ago.

6. One other I forgot - blog at least four times a week! I make videos daily, or almost daily, I want to focus on getting my site to where I want it to be.

Hi Scott, I've just seen this incredible film: http://www.fatsickandnearlydead.com/

The title of this movie says it all, these guys worked a miracle on themselves..I couldn't believe how positive the movie is.

I'm gonna try it by doing green smoothies for breakfast and lunch and eat regular dinner for a week. Should be interesting. If it doesn't totally f'up my digestive system, I might even try it for all meals for a 3, 5 or 7 days. Will know more later..looks like a good way to start, doubtful if a person could stay on any diet for long, but to get things going, it's worth a try.

ps: tried one this AM, seems OK, tastes as good as the stuff you add too it..ginger, berries, apple, kale, spinach, beets, cranberries, lime juice, water...so far so good!

Gary I'm not real big on smoothies as I find I'm always hungry. I'd rather eat the raw vegetables and fruit. But I've done it and either way you feel better. For me, simply cutting out some of the food I eat and modifying how I eat will make a difference of at least 5-10 pounds!
