For the past two weeks, I've been slacking on this site. First, I wasn't sure what to write. Then my Things to Do list became overwhelming. So now I'm playing catch-up. Making videos about men who haven't a clue what to do with Thai women might be entertaining, but as I've said many times, my chief goal in life is not to help these sort of people. Once in a while, okay, but when I get ten page letters from guys, something is wrong.
Here's the the thing; whatever I make from YouTube and this site are used to purchase photo and video equipment and to travel. Making videos about chowderhead men thinking with their wrong head gets me the most views and makes the most money but it's what I least enjoy. What I prefer is making videos about traveling and being on the road. These make the least amount of money, at least for now. I can travel and make less or sit making videos about knuckleheads and make a little more. As I have never been motivated purely for money, to me, it's a no-brainer—travel.
Men Like Oz
Some guys never learn. Some, like Oz the Israeli, ask the same question over and and over again expecting a different answer. Perhaps it is some sort of rite of passage for young men. Who knows. It only took me one video, one email from Oz, to know that the chance of a Thai woman moving to Israel and converting to Judaism is nonexistent.
The guy from Scandinavia asks the same questions expecting different answers, which he will not get from me. He'll say he understands, he knows his girl is a prostitute and he should aim higher–yet in the same sentence he'll talk about paying for an airline ticket to bring his girl over to visit. I got news for him, she's not his girl.
What's Happening Now
Later this week I am going to do a comparison between Cambodia and the Philippines as an expat destination. Thank you to those Filipinos who understand that my comparison between Thailand and the PI was not meant to be a slam on all of the Philippines. To those Filipinos who didn't like the opinions I express in the video, sorry, I'm not for everyone. My suggestion is to visit another channel.
In the next few months, I'll be going to the following places:
BatCat Toys and Museum - over 50,000 toys and superhero related products under one roof. Despite living in the Ramkhamhaeng area for nearly 13 years and passing by it countless times, no one in our family had visited BatCat. With my kids by my side it was very easy to spend a few hours here marveling at the wide range of collectibles on display.
Completed. Video to come next week
Chatuchak Market - no matter how many times you go to Chatuchak Market, or as it is sometimes called, JJ Market, every time promises to be different.
Completed. Video to come next week
The Snake Farm at the Queen Saowapha Memorial Institute - if you're ever bitten by a venomous snake in Thailand, you'll need anti-venom. This is where the snakes are milked who provide the venom. Some of the snakes you're find at the farm: King cobra, Russell's viper, Siamese cobra, banded krait, Malayan pit viper, green pit viper, Pope's pit viper, and more!
Visiting next week
Giant Dragon Tower at Wat Samphran - one of Bangkok's lesser known temples, it reminds me of the tower in The Game of Death. What makes it unusual is the giant dragon wrapped around the 17-story tower.
Visiting in approximately two weeks
Ma Boon Krong - also known as MBK, this mega-mall has something for everyone. Pirated DVD's, one of the best camera equipment selections in the country, movie theaters, you name it.

1. If you would like to help out Bang, now is the time as I'll be visiting with him again in the next few weeks. Any assistance helps and I'm trying to raise the funds to have him seen, treated, and prescribed medicine by a doctor at one of the better hospitals in Bangkok. I am also going to be contacting two agencies about his ID card.
