Bangkok, August 20, 2017 — Day 6/365
Today I finished reading the book Tribe. Yesterday I finished Unf*ck Yourself. In two or three days I'll polish off Double Whammy by Carl Hiaasen. A few days after this I'll finish with Backpacker, a sixteen year set in Thailand and published 16 years ago by John Harris. For a variety of reasons, I have always liked reading. In the past year though, I have become what I can only describe as a voracious reader. Where I am makes no difference, The Mall, a taxi, the doctor's office or on the skytrain; I am seldom without at least one book (and a camera).
Here are the books I have completed from June 17 of this year.
By the 26th of August, I should complete these three books:
I am also in the middle of Martin Meridith's 750-page book The State of Africa. The book is jam packed with story after story outlining how many of the countries in Africa came to be what they are today. I read a few pages every so often. I hope to be done with this one by the end of October.
Other books I have scheduled in the next month:
So which of the above books are my favorites?
Anyone else out there who loves a good book? If so, which books or authors?
