Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City...The Long Way: The Journey That Nearly Broke Me!
This series explores how one man travels overland from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). First, he'll take a train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, then he'll take a bus to Chiang Khong, a tuk-tuk to the border of Thailand and Laos before taking a shuttle bus across the border into the tiny village of Huay Xai. From Huay Xai he'll take a two-day boat down the mighty Mekong River to Pakbeng and finally Luang Prabang. After a few days in Luang Prabang, he'll journey on a sleeper bus to Hanoi, Vietnam where he'll spend a few days before hopping on a 37-hour train to Ho Chi Minh City.
