In the coming week this website will be undergoing a few changes. If for some reason you are unable to enter the member's site or the site is down, it won't be for more than an hour. Every so often I get that stale feeling (in more ways than one) and this is one of those times. So changes and upgrades are my solution to the staleness. The main changes will be the color scheme and design, but there will be other changes.
FYI: My wife and I depart for Chiang Mai on Friday. We had planned on staying four days, however we decided to add an extra day. I'm hoping to do some trekking and get in at least two runs down the river. We considered traveling by train, however a first class cabin was more expensive than airfare so we quickly nixed the idea.
There are far too many great movies set in Asia to list them all, but I originally started this list as a top ten list. Then it was a dozen, then 20, and by the time I live streamed this, the list grew to thirty movies, not including the three movies I seriously dislike; Eat, Love, Pray, Bangkok Dangerous and No Escape. Perhaps Eat, Pray Love was made specifically for women, but I this is one of my least favorite movies. Not only movies set in Asia, but of ALL MOVIES! Maybe it was Julia Roberts praying and walking around in yoga pants, I don't know. Bangkok Dangerous...please, for anyone who knows a little about Thailand, the movie is way over the top. No Escape is another one of my least favorites because the director can't seem to decide on the country in which the coup took place.
Without further ado...my top three favorites from my list: Saint Jack, Return to Paradise and Holly. Let me know your favorites.

Grim Warning Amid Surge
More than 28,000 people could be infected by Covid-19 per day over the next month if no disease control measures are put in place during the current spike, which is thought to be more severe than the previous two rounds, a senior public health official warned on Sunday.
