InterNations, a global network, has ranked the UAE as the second-best nation for foreign workers to start a new life abroad, out of 52 global destinations. According to InterNations, the UAE offers easy communication and minimal bureaucratic issues. Bahrain topped the Expat Essentials Index as it offers a smooth transition to people moving to the country.
Singapore, Estonia, and Oman follow as third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in the report released on Tuesday. The Expat Essentials Index ranked destinations based on four categories: housing, language, digital life, and administration topics. The UAE scored highly in the language subcategory, with 85% of foreign workers polled saying that it was easy to live in the country without speaking the local language.
